The artist that created this obviously spends a lot of time on Photoshop and Illustrator. I like this article because it teaches you how to render, use 3D gradients add shadowing, and creative use of the line tool. Just making the blob figure takes more work than the whole thing, lots of gradient and shadowing. Overall, this article taught me a lot.
